"There I was... my old computer had stopped working, I got a new computer, but was unable to locate all of the photos. I've been downloading for the past, what, 5 years. Well, I thought
I had saved some of them to some Verbatim software disks that I had purchased, but when I wen to view the photos on the disks, I kept getting error messages telling me that the info wasn't viewable.
AAARRRGGGHHH! I panicked.
But I had read Orchids to Dan from Back to Basics computers & thought I would give him a call. Actually, I hunted down the office & visited in person. Talked to Moe, told him of my plight, & asked
if there was anything he could do to help. He assured me that if the photos had been loaded onto the disks, as long as there was no damage done to the disks in the meantime, my photos were safe & he
would be able to have them copied to other disks for me so that I could view & use them.
Phew! Was I ever relieved. Annie even gave me a follow-up call to let me now that they had gotten behind in work, but my disks would be done in a day or two. I wasn't really worried about when
I got them, I was simple elated that I hadn't really lost them.
A few days later, Annie called to le me know my disks were ready, & that I could come pick them up. I did and was thrilled that I was able to put the disks into my computer, view the photos
I had thought I 'd lost, & download or whatever I wanted to do with them.
